Before uploading your website to its new home, you'll first need to obtain and install an FTP client. CuteFTP is a commonly used FTP client which can be downloaded from the CuteFTP website.

Once you've installed CuteFTP on your machine, you'll need to open it. Double-click on the CuteFTP icon on your desktop or click on the Start button, scroll up to Programs, then to the GlobalScape program folder, and then click on CuteFTP.

After CuteFTP loads, you should see a screen similiar to this. If you don't, click on File in the menu bar at the top of the CuteFTP window, and then click Site Manager.

Now we'll create a new site entry for the InnerSpace Online FTP server where you'll be uploading your pages. Click on the New... button, as seen below.

You'll notice that a new entry has been added. Enter the information listed below as shown in the screenshot.

Site label: InnerSpace Online
FTP Host Address: ftp.ispaceonline.com
FTP Site User Name: your username (same as your e-mail username)
FTP Site Password: your password (same as your e-mail password)

Now press the Connect button to connect to the ftp site. If you have filled everything in correctly during the previous step, you should now be looking at a screen that looks similar to this.

You'll notice that the main CuteFTP program window has two main panes in the middle of the screen. The one on the left side displays a listing of the files on your computer. The files in the right pane are located in your webspace on our servers. In order for your website to be viewed by people on the internet you must always upload your files into the public_html directory. To do this, first double-click on the public_html directory.

This will allow you to upload files into the public_html directory. To upload a file, simply right-click the file you wish to upload and then click on the Upload option in the menu that pops up, as shown below. Multiple files can be uploaded at once by holding down the Ctrl key and then individually clicking on each file that you want to upload. Then right-click on one of the selected files to bring up the popup menu and then click Upload on the menu that pops up.
