A: Your e-mail accounts are available using either our webmail interface or the POP3 protocol with your favorite e-mail client.

A: Your webspace is available using the FTP protocol. There are various clients available for connecting to an FTP site. More information on how to use our FTP site is available here. Below are the values you should use to connect to our site.

A: You probably have some experience with software upgrades. If so, you are probably aware of some of the pitfalls involved with such upgrades. As we are responsible for the reliability and stability of hundreds of web sites and email systems, we are very careful when it comes to upgrading our software. As a matter of policy, we do not roll out the latest changes unless they have been subjected to our extensive internal testing for at least several months. Also, we believe that its wise to let the new release "burn-in" for several months, rather than roll out the changes hot off the press. Of course, there are some exceptions to this rule. When patches are released for newly discovered security holes, we generally apply them right away.

A: There are various reasons why your site may not load. Some common problems are listed below, with their solutions.

If you do not have an index.html (or index.htm, index.php, index.cfm, etc.) file in your public_html directory, you will receive a 404 error message when loading your site. To fix this problem, create an index.html file, or copy one of your existing html files to index.html.

All of our servers are case sensitive. If you have uploaded a file named Index.HTML, it will not be accessible as http://www.mysite.com/index.html (or as http://www.mysite.com/). In order to eliminate confusion, we recommend using all lower-case characters when naming your web pages. Also, files cannot have spaces, commas, apostrophes, or any other non-alphanumeric characters in their names.
